TIM AND SAVANNAH FINCH with THE EASTMAN STRING BAND

Stay local and enjoy an evening of good ole’ bluegrass music at the Calvert Marine Museum on Friday, October 14 at 7 p.m. Good Deale Bluegrass founder and multi-instrumentalist, Tim Finch, teams up with the sweet vocals and songwriting styles of Savannah Finch to create a unique melding of Bluegrass roots with Americana style, exemplifying an “Alt-grass” sound. The Eastman String Band mixes heartfelt originals with high energy instrumentals and soaring harmonies! Tickets are $12 online, $15 at the door and available at www.bit.ly//MaritimeConcerts. The 7th Annual Maritime Performance Series is sponsored in part by Holiday Inn Solomons. Doors open at 6 p.m. with beer and wine for sale. Other Friday performances include EVA on November 4, Brad Kolodner Trio with Rachel Eddy on January 27, 2017, The Redwine Jazz Band plays Mardi Gras on February 17, and The Benjie Porecki Trio on March 17.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, military with valid I.D. and AAA members, and $4.00 for children ages 5 - 12; children under 5 and museum members are always admitted free.
