Quarterly meeting of the CMM Fossil Club followed by a public lecture, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The meeting and lecture will be held in person in the museum's Harms Gallery. CMM Curator of Paleontology, Dr. Stephen Godfrey, will give a presentation on local fossils, including megalodon. The talk will focus on recent happenings in paleontology at the museum, as well as, on a recent CMM publication on possible failed predation by the extinct giant shark megalodon. The talk is free and open to the public.
