Recollect your memories and
be part of the new exhibit at the Calvert Marine Museum
Share in the excitement of a new exhibit opening in early March
at The Calvert Marine Museum.
This
exhibit features photographs of Solomons as it was 50-100 years
ago, along with present day photos of that same place as it is
today. The pictures tell a story of a small, tight knit
community where people knew their neighbors, where the country
store was the center of community life, and where life revolved
around the tides and the seasons.
This is an exhibit about community, and we would like to hear
your recollections. For the next six weeks, we will run one of
the photographs from the exhibit. We want to hear what memories
these images bring up for you.
Your
reflections and stories will become part of the exhibit, both on
our web site and in the gallery.
