Dear Exhibitors:

We are looking forward to the 41st Annual Patuxent River Appreciation Days (P.R.A.D.) scheduled for October 6 - 7, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The purpose of this letter is to encourage you to get your registration in as soon as possible. Again, the 2018 PRAD show activities and events will be held on the fenced & enclosed Calvert Marine Museum grounds and parking area. All vendors will be located in the museum parking lot. Please see the enclosed layout which shows general locations. Once registered, you will be assigned a specific site. All participants in the Arts and Crafts Show must be covered by general liability, but you are no longer required to name additional insured.

The Art and Craft Show booth area will be $100 for a 15’ x 15’ space. A committee from the Calvert Artists’ Guild will judge the booths once they are set up and offer a “Best of Show Award”, which is free registration for PRAD 2019. "Catch of the Day" Kanda Harp & Dave Feinstein won the Best in Show for 2017. Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis with the previous year exhibitor’s first priority. Those who register following the first letter will be given priority and/or equivalent layout space(s).

Artists are responsible for providing their own setup requirements including tables and chairs. Electricity is not available. Artists or their representative are expected to remain during the entire show, which concludes at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

All new vendor art and craft work must be juried to ensure appropriateness and quality. Prior exhibitors with current work on file need not be juried again. If you have not previously been juried, please send three digital .jpg images, photographs, or a CD/flash-drive of objects for sale to include one digital image, photo, or image of your booth set-up; also include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if items are to be returned.

The application deadline is September 1, 2018. At the time you submit your application, a deposit fee of $50 is required. If you are not accepted, your fee will be returned. Once you are accepted, this fee is not refundable. Returning vendors may pay the total fee when applying. Your remaining balance will be due before September 25th.

You will be notified of your space number by September 15th. Spaces will be marked by the morning of Friday, October 5, and you may set up after 8:30 a.m.

Also note that the Calvert Artists’ Guild, Inc. will be hosting a fine art show in several combined tents on the CMM grounds. The Guild allows multiple pieces of work to be displayed, depending on size and space availability.
