River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison
Enjoy a leisurely hour on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will sail the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center.
Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets must be purchased the day of the cruise at the museum. Maximum capacity is 40 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed.

Children under 5 ride free when accompanied by a paying adult. (Excludes organized groups.)
No baby carriages or strollers allowed.
Hours of Operation
The one-hour cruise leaves the museum dock at 2 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, May through October.
On Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, there are additional cruises at 12:30 p.m. and 3:10 p.m.
On Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day there will also be a 3:10 p.m. cruise.

Wm. B. Tennison Special Cruise Information
Cancellation must be received no later than 5 business days before cruise for a refund. There will be a $5 processing charge for each cancellation before the 5 day period. For more information, call 410-326-2042, ext. 41. In case of inclement weather and food is being served on your cruise, please come to the museum and your food will be provided.

Mother's Day Brunch Cruise: Sunday, May 12 ~ 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. What better way to say "you are special" than a relaxing cruise and brunch? Adults $30, children 12 and under $15.
Mother's Day Evening Cruise: Sunday, May 12 ~ 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. A perfect ending to Mom's special day. Heavy hors d' oeuvres served. Adults $30, children 12 and under $15.
Kid's Pirate Pizza Cruise: Saturday, May 25 ~ 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Dress like a pirate and eat pizza on board the Tennison - Arggggggh! $15 per person.
Father's Day Brunch Cruise: Sunday, June 16 ~ 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. What better way to say "you are special" than a relaxing cruise and brunch? Adults $30, children 12 and under $15.
Father's Day Evening Cruise: Sunday, June 16 ~ 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. A perfect ending to Dad's special day. Heavy hors d' oeuvres served. Adults $30, children 12 and under $15.
Fireworks Cruise: Thursday, July 4 ~ 8 p.m. till ??? Come aboard for the best view in town! Bring a picnic basket, if you like, with your favorite food and libations. $35 per person. Children 7 and older welcome. Rain date is July 5; no refunds unless the fireworks are canceled on this date as well.
Participants are invited to bring their own libations.
Historic Sunset Supper Cruises
In case of inclement weather, the lecture and food will be provided. Cancellations must be made 5 days prior to cruise date for a full refund minus a $5 administrative cost.

June 8 ~ August 3 ~ September 7
Climb aboard the historic Wm. B. Tennison for a 90-minute cruise through history. A museum educator will share fascinating facts about Solomons, the WWII Amphibious Training Base, and Solomons’ rich tradition of boat building. While munching appetizers, see old steamboat wharves and hear about the important role they played in town life. View historic homes, landmarks, and other points of interest. Discover where heroic battles were fought, submarines sunk, lighthouses lit, Ghost Fleets docked, and watch the sunset over the horizon. Return to the museum for a short presentation and a light supper from No Thyme To Cook. Fee is $50 per person and reservations are required by the Wednesday prior to the cruise date. Participants are invited to bring their own libations.
