Concert History

2015 marks the 30th anniversary of bringing live music to Southern Maryland. The Calvert Marine Museum introduced live music to our community in 1985. Since then, our Summer Concert Series has been cultivated and refined to become the most popular performing arts venue in Southern Maryland. It is the museum’s most important fundraising event and it assists in raising nearly 40 percent of the museum’s annual budget; a budget which is used to reach out to our area’s children and educate over 20,000 kids each year about maritime history, local culture, and the environment.

We have set the bar for all other venues to strive for with an amazing list of performers including Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famers like BB King, The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Heart and more. We've also had country legends like Rascal Flatts, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr., and Willie Nelson grace our stage. We bring variety and excitement to the waterfront of Solomons and thanks to years of support from our community, members, Commissioners, and sponsors we will continue to bring the best in entertainment to Southern Maryland for years to come.
