Volunteer

Something for Everyone!

Since 1970, volunteers have been an integral part of the museum. From its founding by volunteers, to the “unpaid” staff of today, this institution could not function without them.

With over 400 active volunteers, the Calvert Marine Museum is able to offer many educational and engaging programs to more than 80,000 visitors a year. You, too, can be part of our volunteer family.
